If this is your first time considering Travelpooling with us, here’s a reminder for how it works: We send one intrepid team of documentary filmmakers into the field in a particular country, and any organization can contact us to film a story while we’re there. The cost of the trip gets distributed across all participants, saving everyone money in the long run. For more information about our travelpooling service, visit our Travelpooling Page.

Happy trails!

Announcing new Micro-Documentaries Production Hubs in Santiago and Madrid
In the last three years our clients have taken us to film in 27 countries. Just thinking about that number gives me pause and immense gratitude. With your increasing demand to be on the ground for productions around the world, we are very happy to announce that we’ve opened two new Production Hubs. The first is in Santiago, Chile, marking our first Production Hub in South America (woohoo!). The second is in Madrid, Spain, which will join London, England, as our ground zero for production in Europe. We also have Production Hubs in Africa (Cape Town) and in North America (San Francisco, New York, Boston, and Los Angeles). Collectively our eight Hubs make it easier and faster to film local projects and help reduce travel costs to surrounding locations. They also complement our Travelpooling service, which makes it even more cost-effective to send our documentary filmmakers out to capture your inspiring work in the field.

Where in the world are you working to solve our pressing social and environmental issues? Let us know. We'd love to join you.

Everyone loves to travel in the summer. At Micro-Documentaries we’re no exception, only we think traveling is best when it’s done together. In the coming two months our documentary filmmakers will travel to some of the sunniest spots on the planet, from Sao Paulo to Haiti to Kenya to Tanzania and Tel Aviv. We also have trips scheduled to Germany, Russia, and Asia, where we’ll be making stops in China and Japan. If you have important work underway in any of these regions and would like us to capture it on film, we’ll be happy to group you together with trips we already have on the books. Travel costs will be split accordingly among our various clients in each region. Take a look at the specific cities and countries where we’re headed and feel free to join in our summer sharing!

If you have a story to tell in India or Latin America, April is the month to let the camera roll.  We’ll be traveling to India with stops in Delhi and Hyderabad.  At the end of the month and into May we'll descend upon Latin America!  Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina are all on the list!  Shall we add more?  Take a look.
