Our promise to you
Micro-Documentaries distinguishes itself from other approaches on the market today in three main ways:
Authentic - so you can humanize your message and connect more naturally with your audience by applying a documentary methodology (rather than the usual commercial methodology) we are able to produce work that is of high aesthetic quality and authenticity. Uncontrived humanity comes through the voices of real people captured in a journalistic way, telling their stories of transformational journeys that are core to your mission.
Affordable - so you can create as many as you like, as often as you like as documentary filmmakers we don't tend to work with actors, we don't use scripts nor storyboards. We are accustomed to solo productions and love to use the sun as a beautiful light source. All of this increases quality of the productions while significantly dropping price and production time. Our time-saving micro-documentary process, is designed with our busy clients in mind and ensures minimum hassle during the production of your micro-documentaries. If your filmmaking needs involves travel, we will be happy to have you join our Travelpool Program, where you can share travel costs with other clients going to the same locations.
Actionable - so you can turn inspiration into action as much as we love a beautiful film, what draws us most to this work is to help our clients make a strong impact through their social and environmental missions. This is why we specialize in working with purposeful businesses and nonprofits. The micro-documentaries we produce include calls-to-action so that inspiration can be triggered into action. Staying involved with the work of the Stanford Persuasive Technology Lab (one of our founders was a researcher at the lab while at Stanford) also keeps our finger on the pulse of the latest thinking and experiments related to persuasive video.
